Job SummaryÂ
The onsite professional will provide first aid and medical care to clinic employees as requested/needed, and within the RN scope of practice, following treatment care guidelines set forth by the occupational health director and client policy / procedures.Â
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide on-site treatment / management of injuries and minimize the need for off-site medical treatmentÂ
-
Give on-site care, first aid and follow up to occupationally injured/ill workersÂ
-
Manage open workers comp and short-term disability cases as neededÂ
-
Maintain a medical record database and provide reports to management as applicableÂ
-
Maintain OSHA records as applicableÂ
-
May perform medical testing including but limited to: TB tests, blood draws, immunizations, drug screening, vision tests, hearing tests, respirator fit tests and medical evaluationsÂ
-
May perform First Aid, CPR, AED and other training as necessaryÂ
-
Maintain clinic supplies for treatment and preventative measures in the workplaceÂ

Provide preventative health education as neededÂ
Qualifications
Education and Experience
-
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Idaho.Â
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferredÂ
-
Must hold current BLS certificationÂ
-
3â5 years experience requiredÂ
-
2-3 yearsâ experience in an urgent care, emergency department or occupational health setting preferredÂ
-
Certification in Occupational Health preferredÂ

Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.Â

Some bending and stretching could be required.Â

Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.Â

Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.Â

Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.Â

Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and climb stairsÂ

Work EnvironmentÂ

Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.Â

The noise level is usually moderate.Â
